This website is very useful as it is laid out simply and clearly. With it, you can look up the definition of most math-related words by their alphabetical letter, which is accessed via a bar to the left of the page. By clicking on it, a definition is accesed. This includes a simplifed definitions, a kids' one, and also an interactive one. This will show an animated example first, then afterwards, if it is the definition of a formula for example, another of the same type will be repeated for you to try. In the case of the defined object being an actual object, such as an abacus, the definition is shown, followed by a description of how it works, and then an animated version. |
